LookAround is Sunsetting
Today we have some sad news to share: after more than two years of helping real estate agents bring apartments and houses to life in 360°, we have decided to sunset LookAround.
We started LookAround in 2016 with a simple idea — that anyone should be able to create a ready-for-VR virtual tour of a property with nothing more than a 360° camera and a few minutes of their time. Since then, agents and property portals across Europe and the Middle East have created and shared thousands of tours with our platform, and we are incredibly proud of what we built together.
At the same time, we have come to the conclusion that we cannot give LookAround the focus and resources it deserves going forward. Rather than let the product slowly degrade, we believe the right thing to do is to wind it down properly.
What this means for you
- Tour creation is discontinued. It is no longer possible to create new tours or sign up for new accounts.
- Existing tours will remain viewable for a limited time while we wind down our infrastructure. If you have embedded a tour on your website, we recommend replacing it soon.
- Your data. If you would like a copy of your tour images or data, please reach out to us and we will do our best to help while our systems are still online.
To every agent, partner and team member who believed in LookAround: thank you. Building this product and working with all of you has been an amazing journey, and the lessons we learned along the way will stay with us in everything we build next.
